The Story of Casa Moros
Casa Moros is a new holiday home located in the Tanca s’Ollastu condominium in Castiadas, south-eastern Sardinia. Just a short distance away lies the Nuraghe Moros, one of the 6,500 stone towers built in Sardinia during the Bronze Age. Today, they form part of the island’s most important archaeological heritage. The name of this nuraghe inspired us in choosing the name of the villa.
The house itself was designed by architect Barbara Brendolan, fully respecting traditional Sardinian architecture and harmonising with the other homes in the condominium. With great attention to detail and aesthetics, combined with the latest building techniques, the house, garden and swimming pool were created as a beautifully integrated whole.
Special care was also given to ecological aspects. Materials were selected based on quality, durability and recyclability. For example, the beds were designed by the young designers of Robuust from Amsterdam. The steel used for the beds is 80% recycled. Caterina Quartana, a textile designer from Cagliari, combines Italian craftsmanship with sustainable design. She designed the seating cushions for the living room and terrace especially for this home, as well as the elegant poufs in the bedrooms.

The house features three bedrooms: two with double beds and one with two single beds. Each bedroom has direct access to a modern bathroom. Air conditioning is available throughout the house, including the living area, ensuring optimal comfort in every season.
The Kitchen & Living Area
Secci Interni from Muravera provided the kitchen and cabinets by the Lube brand. The kitchen is fully equipped with all modern conveniences, including a dishwasher, induction hob, and all appliances required for comfortable cooking. An additional fridge with freezer is available in the basement.
A cosy sitting area with TV and a large dining table create a warm and inviting atmosphere. The wine fridge keeps both white and red wines at the perfect temperature. Wi-Fi is available throughout the house, allowing you to stay connected whenever you wish.

Three Comfortable Bedrooms
Each bedroom at Casa Moros has been carefully designed and features its own modern bathroom. The beds were designed by Robuust from Amsterdam and are made of 80% recycled steel – a perfect balance of comfort, design and sustainability.
The master bedroom offers a spacious double bed and direct access to the terrace. The second bedroom also features a comfortable double bed, while the third room is equipped with two single beds – ideal for children or friends.

Your Private Oasis
The young garden is a delightful place to relax, surrounded by lush greenery. A true eye-catcher is the 250-year-old olive tree – a living piece of history that gives the garden its unique character. A barbecue is, of course, available, and the swimming pool is never far away for a refreshing dip.
The swimming pool measures 10 by 4 metres and has a depth of 1.40 metres. Water disinfection is carried out through electrolysis, a process in which salt is split to create free chlorine. Thanks to this innovative system, the water is soft and pleasant, with only a minimal amount of free chlorine. The waterfall in the wall behind the pool adds a beautiful decorative touch, and in the evening, colourful pool lighting creates a wonderful atmosphere.
Under the spacious, shaded terrace, you can relax on the cushions designed by Caterina Quartana and enjoy long dinners at the large dining table well into the night. Around the pool, comfortable sun loungers and charming parasols ensure there is a perfect spot for everyone.
